The title was given after the piece was written and covers several meanings: on the one side, it alludes to a painting by Toma-L, influenced by action-painting and urban graffiti; on the other, to cellular biology in which the Hox genes participate in intracellular communication.
It is indeed in this spirit and these influences - the urban fields with jerky, harsh visual and audio landscapes in their urgency as well as in the multiplication and multiplicity of sensorial information, in its stratigraphy and interaction - that one must envisage listening to Hox.
