Modern interpretation of the Tibetan Singing Bowls
The Sela Crystal Singing Bowl Set - Frosted 440 Hz includes seven crystal singing bowls with diameters ranging from approximately 20 cm (8" model) to approximately 36 cm (14"). The Crystal Singing Bowls are made of quartz crystal and have a chic frosted glass design with a rough, white surface. The material used is given excellent sound properties by a special manufacturing process in which glass is melted down and formed into the desired shape by a centrifuge. Crystal singing bowls, like the traditional variants made of bronze or brass alloys, produce spherical, long-lasting sounds with a powerful fundamental tone and "singing", harmonic overtones. In direct comparison, the modern variant made of glass sounds even somewhat clearer and significantly longer than its metallic counterpart.

For music, meditation and singing bowl therapy
Sela Crystal Singing Bowls are suitable for making music as well as for meditation, yoga sessions and sound massages. Their soothing voice can help relieve stress, deeply relax and bring body and mind into harmony. The Sela Crystal Singing Bowls can be played individually or as a set, and of course combined with other instruments such as our Sela Handpans to take listeners on a multi-layered sound journey. The bowls of this set are tuned to the notes B, A, G, F, E, D and C (from the smallest to the largest model). The concert pitch A is at 440 Hz - the standard in the western music world.

With mallets and other accessories
The Sela Crystal Singing Bowl Set comes with three mallets specially designed for use with crystal singing bowls. The included mallet with rubber head and handle made of Asian schima wood fits comfortably in the hand and allows both gentle striking and rubbing of singing bowls. In addition, two different rubbing sticks made of glass are included. One model is half coated with silicone, the other completely. Thanks to the soft coating, the crystal singing bowls can also be struck quietly with these or gently vibrated by rubbing along the upper edge. Depending on the selected mallet, the striking technique and intensity, a variety of different tones can be elicited from the Sela Crystal Singing Bowls.

In addition, seven included silicone rings ensure a secure stand and optimal vibration behavior of the Sela Crystal Singing Bowls - so they can unfold their full sound potential at any time.
