Lode Violet composed his work "Sång till Norden" for the Gala Concert of the 2015 Swedish Brass Band Championships, where the premiere performance was given by Brass Band Willebroek.
The composition is based on 2 phrases of the Swedish anthem (Du Gamla, Du fria) who are used throughout the composition. The title refers to the original title of the anthem "Sång till Norden" which means Song of the North.
