ONCE UPON A DREAM
Disneys filmer har alltid bydd på vakker musikk. «Once Upon a Dream» eller «I en drøm» som har blitt den norske tittelen, er skrevet i 1959 til den musikalske animasjonsfilmen «Sleeping Beauty» («Tornerose») produsert av Walt Disney.
Den er basert på Tchaikovskys ballett med samme navn, nærmere bestemt stykket «Grande Valse Villageoise». I filmen er temaet tilegnet Prinsesse Aurora og Prins Philip. Mary Costa og Bill Shirley framførte den vakre sangen som en duett i originalversjonen.

The movies from Disney have always included a lot of great music. «Once Upon a Dream» was written in 1959 to the musical animation movie "Sleeping Beauty", a movie produced by Walt Disney.
It is based on Tchaikovsky's ballet with the same name.
In the movie, the theme is dedicated to Princess Aurora and Prince Philip. Mary Costa and Bill Shirley performed the beautiful song as a duet in the original version.
HAAKON ESPLO, f. 1970, kommer fra Kolbotn i Oppegård kommune. Han er utdannet ved Norges Musikkhøgskole som blokkfløytist og har jobbet som musiker, undervist og dirigert skole- og voksenkorps flere steder. Esplo behersker en rekke instrumenter og har komponert og arrangert musikk i mange år med særlig hovedvekt på korpsbesetningen.
HAAKON ESPLO, b. 1970, is from a small place near Oslo named Kolbotn in the county of Oppegård. He has a bacheler from The Norwegian Academy of Music and his main instument is recorder (blockflöte). He has been working as a musician, teacher and a conductor for both young- and adult bands. Esplo masters several instruments and has been composing and arranging music for many years.
