SCHLIPF 'PRACTICE MUTE'
This mute is a brilliant practice mute. It mutes the volume to a low level. Therefore it is suited for practicing in hotels or dwellings! Its waight is only about 1 kg and it can be transported within the tuba. Additionally it provides protection for the bell of the tuba.
Furthermore it leads to an improvement of the air circulation and makes a concentrated embouchure training possible. This mute is offered in 16 models for all tuba sizes.
Important notes:
- With the rotation of the tuba the mute can fall out.
At the beginning one has to get used to the new air circulation and play the tones centred and with a lot of air!
